Most demanding part of the journey
We kick off the adventure with the most challenging and most breathtaking part of the journey. The roads may be narrow and the asphalt rough, but the landscapes are nothing short of spectacular. From Podgorica, we wind our way through Rijeka Crnojevića, follow the old road to Bar and Sveti Stefan, and then ride the Adriatic highway all the way to Morinj.
The ride begins...
Beauty of Boka Bay
Our journey sets off in the enchanting surroundings of Boka Bay, a place where towering mountains plunge dramatically into mirror-calm waters. Then we begin our ascent to Lovćen toward Kolašin, climbing from sea level to more than 1,000 meters in altitude. We end the day in Berane, staying at a local family farm where we’ll enjoy authentic home-cooked meals with flavors guaranteed to impress every palate.

We continue with our bellies full
With a heavy heart but full bellies, we continue our journey towards Alipasa Springs, the biggest karst spring in Montenegro. We leave Prokletije National Park to return to Podgorica through the amazing Cijevna Canyon. We will visit vine cellar Šipčanik, located in a former Yugoslavia underground airspace, reaching our overnight stay overwhelmed with impressions.
Into our next thrill...
Durmitor National Park
Wake up in Tunjevo to the gentle chorus of birds and the aroma of fresh, warm coffee. After breakfast, we hit the road, crossing Glava Zete (famous for thrilling car races) to kickstart our adventure. We ascend to the awe-inspiring Ostrog Monastery, Montenegro’s most sacred pilgrimage site and one of Europe’s most visited Orthodox landmarks. From there, the journey takes us to the sparkling Piva Lake, in the heart of Durmitor National Park. We’ll pause for a quick coffee break before diving into our next thrill: the Durmitor Ring, a must-see route to truly capture the breathtaking beauty of the Balkans. Finally, we reach Žabljak, where we can relax, soak in the scenery and savor every memory from the day.
Wrapping up our tour...
Last day of our adventure
We depart from Žabljak, journeying toward the iconic Đurđevića Tara Bridge, winding through the untouched Crna Poda forest, home to some of Europe’s oldest and tallest pines. Next, we arrive at Biogradska Gora National Park, where the serene Biogradsko Lake lies at its heart. From there, we follow the dramatic twists and turns of the Morača River Canyon all the way to Podgorica, wrapping up our adventure and leaving us dreaming of the new adventures.
